Brief Description: The University of Melbourne is offering international students applying for a Graduate Research program a scholarship to support their dreams. Students with good academic records and performance are welcome to apply for this scholarship.

Level/Field of Study: Any eligible graduate research degree offered at the University of Melbourne

Scholarship Value: The scholarship offer qualified students Fully paid tuition fees, a monthly stipend of $30,600 per year pro-rata for students undertaking a Masters by Research degree, or up to 3.5 years for students undertaking a doctoral degree. A transport fare of $2,000 for domestic students, and $3,000 for international students.

Eligibility:

Applicants from home or abroad are welcome to apply for this scholarship.

Students must obtain a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of second-class honors (Upper Credit) or higher or its equivalent.

Applicants are required to first receive an offer of admission for a Master’s program at the University.

Target Group or Country: Domestic and International students from all countries

Application deadline: The scholarship occurs every year. The application deadline is usually around mid-October but applicants must check with their Japanese embassies for the submission date to the embassies.
