Brief Description: International students who are pursuing a Master’s program in Chemistry or Biochemistry in Switzerland are invited to apply for the SCS Foundation Master’s scholarship. Students who applied to one of the selected Swiss universities or Federal Institute of Technology will be considered for the Alfred Werner Masters Scholarships. This scholarship will aim to attract and support international students to study in Switzerland.

Level/Field of Study: MSc degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry offered at the participating Swiss universities and institutes of technology
Scholarship Value: The successful candidates will receive CHF 30’000 each in the form of a stipend, will be awarded
Eligibility:
Applicants must be international students in the top 10% of their undergraduate programs.
All subjects will be thought in the English Language, this is why candidates must present proof of English language proficiency.
Target Group or Country: Any student from any country in the world can apply for this scholarship.
Application deadline: The scholarship occurs every year. The application for this scholarship opens exactly 8 weeks from the deadline date which is on 31 March.
How to Apply:
Applicants who wish to obtain this scholarship should apply for a Master’s program at the selected Swiss Universities. applicants must ensure that they meet admission requirements of the Universities and a Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, and during such application, ask for the support of the institution for an Alfred Werner Scholarship. The university will then submit the nominations to SCS Foundation, by mid-April 2021. The scholarship link is found below
