Scholarship Description:

International students from around the world are invited to apply for the turkey international student scholarships. The scholarship is provided by the Turkish government to provide support to international students who wish to study in any of the universities in Turkey.

The award is open to international students who have shown interest to study in Turkey by way of securing admission in one of Turkey’s prestigious institutions for a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral program.

The Turkish Government is looking to attract bright and talented students to Australia to help grow their economy and also promote the Turkey educational system through quality education.

Every year, the Turkish government launches new scholarships and award programs to help support students financially at top universities in Turkey, and the latest scholarship is the Turkey Awards scholarship.

The Turkish scholarship award offers fully-funded tuition fees return air travel fare, monthly allowances, contribution to living expenses, and so many more benefits.

Successful applicants will receive a financial benefit that covers:

The scholarship includes university and program placement, monthly stipend (Bachelor: 800 TL per month; Masters: 1,100 TL per month; Ph.D.: 1,600 TL per month), tuition fee, once-off return flight ticket, health insurance, accommodation, and one year Turkish Language Course.

The normal duration of the award is:

  • Undergraduate: 1 year Turkish Language course + 4-6 years (depending on the normal duration of the program)
  • Master’s: 1 year Turkish Language course + 2 years
  • Ph.D.: 1 year Turkish Language course + 4 years

Eligibility:

The scholarship is open to only

  • Applicants must be non-citizen of Turkey
  • Applicants must be both physically and mentally fit to undertake a course program in Turkey
  • Applicants applying for bachelor programs must have completed a previous high school diploma and should be under the age of 21
  • Applicants applying for a Master’s program must have completed a bachelor’s program and not exceed the age of 30.
  • Applicants applying for a Doctoral degree program must first complete a Master studies and be below the 35 years
  • Applicants Must also demonstrate excellent academic performance and possess the ability to do a proper research

Minimum Academic Criteria:

  • Minimum academic achievement for Bachelor’s degree applicants: 70%
  • Minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctorate applicants: 75%
  • Minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy) applicants: 90%
