When Is JAMB 2023 Registration Starting?
According to JAMB, everyone who wants to take the exam must sign up between Saturday, January 14, 2023 and Tuesday, February 14, 2023. This includes people who sign up in other countries.
To sign up for JAMB 2023, you must send a text message with your NIN number to 55019 or 66019. This will give you a profile code. You can also get your ten-digit JAMB profile code by calling 550191*NIN# or *660191NIN#.
The mock test for JAMB will be on March 16, 2023. To do well on the JAMB exam in 2023, you can take the JAMB MOCK TEST as many times as you want on our platform. This will help you get used to the exam format and possible questions.

How to Register for JAMB exam in 2023
Candidates would have to go to a JAMB-accredited CBT-Center to sign up for the exam and get their printout slip.
Here’s How To Register For JAMB, Step By Step:
Step 1: Create a profile
This is done by sending NIN, a space, and the 11-digit NIN as an SMS to 55019 or 66019. Before creating a JAMB profile, ensure you validate your email address. This proves that your email is real and can be reached.
NIN 1234476767 to 55019 or 66019, for example. After this is done, the candidate gets a 10-digit code on the same number the message was sent through. The JAMB E-pins will be bought with this 10-digit number.
Step 2: Purchase ePins
During JAMB registration, every applicant must buy an ePIN in order to start the application process. Payments for JAMB’s ePIN registration and the recommended reading text can be made at banks, CBT centers, and JAMB state offices.
You can pay for your JAMB ePIN at your bank, at an ATM, at a point of sale (POS), through a mobile transfer, or on the JAMB portal.
Step 3: Fill out the registration form
After buying the ePIN, the next step is to register online at a JAMB CBT center that has been approved. Here, the candidate is expected to show the ePIN at any accredited CBT Centre so that it can be validated and the JAMB registration process can be finished. When the candidate registers his or her profile on his or her phone, the candidate’s name is typed in. When the CBT center enters the candidate’s e-PIN, the candidate’s name comes up as it was typed.
When you Register For Jamb, you need to do the following:
- Fill out the list of schools and programs you want (course of study).
- If you don’t have to wait for a result, list your qualifications with grades and dates.
- Upload relevant certificates.
- The candidates need to give their O/L and/or A/L grades. Those who are still waiting for their results should upload them to CAPS (JAMB) as soon as they are posted on the JAMB portal. JAMB will not take into account any recommendations from any institution if the candidate has not uploaded his or her results to the JAMB portal. No institution is allowed to take a new picture/photograph, biometrics, or require any other upload of the result. Institutions can get all of the results from the website of the board (and the download is tracked to avoid abuse)
- If you want to apply through direct entry (DE), you need to give your JAMB registration number along with your previous institution certificates.
- Fill in your preferred UTME subjects and the city where you want to take the test (s)
- Test for practice (optional). For mock tests, candidates must pay on the day of the test.
- Check the details to make sure nothing is wrong.
- Make a registration form. USING BIOMETRIC AUTHENTIFICATION (UTME/DE) to check if a fingerprint is valid. CBT centers can’t be blamed for mistakes when you sign in with your fingerprint. Before putting their fingerprints down, candidates need to make sure

- After registering, get the e-slip as proof that you registered.

When does direct entry registration for JAMB 2023 start?
From Monday, February 20, to Thursday, April 20, 2023, people could sign up for JAMB Direct Entry.
Is a JAMB Mock Test Really Necessary?
To prepare and acquaint Prospective Applicants with the CBT environment, JAMB will organize a practice test in all approved CBT venues. Applicants who want to take the mock test should specify it during registration if they register early enough.

Dates and Locations For The 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination

JAMB does not assign applicants to any other examination location (or combination of towns) than the one chosen during registration. Applicants are recommended, however, to register early before the number of available slots in their preferred town or set of towns is depleted.
