Brief Description: Students from around the world who wish to study in South Africa but can’t make the journey to the country can take advantage of the Distance Learning program launched for the 2020/2021 academic year. The scholarship award will give you the opportunity to study a master’s degree with the University of South Africa from your home country at an affordable cost.

Qualified applicants will be provided with an educational fund to cover their expenses and tuition fee.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants are eligible for this scholarship if they are enrolled to the following online courses: MSc in Agriculture at the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (CAES)
  • MSc Flotation, MSc Combination, MSc Biogas, MSc Bioremediation, MSc Fischer Tropsch, MSc Gasification, MSc Process Synthesis at the College of Science, Engineering and Technology (CSET)
  • MEd in Open Distance Learning at the College of Education (CEDU)
  • All two-year distance learning Masters courses in the College of Economics and Management Sciences (CEMS)
  • All two-year distance learning Masters courses College of Human Sciences (CHS)
  • Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree with at least a 2:1 grade or its equivalents.

  • To apply students must have all the required documents in a place like High school certificate, Undergraduate transcript (and graduation certificate), Two references – preferably academic, Scan of passport or national ID card, Proof of English language ability if English is not your first language
